Our Centre is strongly committed to ensuring children are safe and secure. Our features, practices and procedures prioritise every aspect of safety and wellbeing.

Our Centre is accessible through a single, keypad-secured entry. We also have a video surveillance system to enhance building security and provide peace of mind for families. Outdoor play areas are not accessible from the road.

Further security is provided through our digital sign-in system. Each parent creates a unique PIN, allowing only that person to sign their child out. This system also enables us to know exactly which children are at the Centre at any given time, supporting efficient evacuation procedures if required. If someone else is collecting your child, the Centre must be notified in advance and the person collecting them must provide proof of identification upon arrival.

Our Centre is fitted with smoke detectors and a hard-wired fire alarm system that automatically contacts the Fire Brigade. We conduct regular evacuation and lockdown procedures, and our fire extinguishers are regularly serviced.

All Educators are trained to remain vigilant at all times, from supervising children using outdoor play equipment to monitoring sleep times. Regular Educator appraisals also address diligent supervision and safety practices.
